Avnei Eitan is a settlement that was established by members of the Religious Scouts and Bnei Akiva, the southernmost settlements among the religious settlements of the Golan. Kidmat Zvi

"With a heavily loaded convoy of trucks, the first settlers – a married couple, two "straw widowers" who had left their pregnant wives with their mothers in the center of the country and two bachelors – reached the new settlement of Kela. They found a collection of prefabricated buildings and several sheds made of concrete.
