Approximately 115 families live in the Moshav, which was established in 1973. They earn their living from agriculture, free professions and tourism. In Eliad there are playgrounds, a sports field, clubs (for children/youth/adults), a grocery store, a petrol station, tire repair shop, therapeutic horseback riding farm, a boutique winery, tourism and more.
The community of Eliad is unique in that it enables living space and privacy; yet it is also a supportive community with many joint social activities.
Klita: Agricultural estates in a new neighborhood that will be built in the near future.
Education and culture: In the Moshav, there is a daycare center for infants from birth to three years old and a kindergarten for children 3-6 years old. First to eighth graders learn in the regional elementary school "Mitzpeh Golan" in Bnei Yehuda, the "Shorashim" school in Natur or the "Kanaf" democratic school. High school children learn in "Nofei Golan" in Katzrin or the "Kanaf" democratic school. Transportation to these schools is the responsibility of the Golan Regional Council.
The children and youth enjoy activities that are age and need-matched within the framework of our informal education systems. In addition, there are many joint social activities throughout the year.
Quality of life: Eliad is a small settlement and its residents enjoy the serenity, wide spaces and amazing landscape alongside diverse social activities and mutual aid.
