The Moshav started as an agricultural settlement and today includes more than 100 families which earn their living from agriculture, free professions and tourism. The members of the Moshav enjoy the closeness to nature, the wide spaces of the Golan, and an excellent education system based on values such as volunteering, assisting the community, solidarity, protection of the environment and more.
Klita: self-build plots, with an option to build two guest units. The size of the plots is approximately a dunam.
Education: There is a daycare center for children aged 6 month to 3 years and two kindergartens. The kindergartens are well-kept and have won a "Green Kindergarten" certificate. The kindergartens enrich the children by studying about nature and using recycled materials.
First to eighth graders learn in the regional elementary school of Bnei Yehuda, the democratic school of Eli'ad or the "Shorashim" school in Natur.
High school children learn in 'Nofei Golan' in Katzrin (a thirty minute drive). Transportation to the schools is the responsibility of the Golan Regional Council.
First to third graders have activities on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Fourth to twelfth graders join the "Bnei Ha'Moshavim" Movement and have weekly activities with older counsellors, trips and parties.
Quality of life: The settlement enjoys a unique combination of the spectacular view of the Kinneret and the Golan Heights and the proximity to the beaches of the Kinneret and many touristic sites yet still preserves its peaceful rural character.
In Ma'aleh Gamla there are lively community and cultural activities – the fruit of the investment of the members of the community.
