Since 1972, Bnei Yehuda has served as a rural regional center for the settlements of the south of the Golan. Its 300 families enjoy a quality of life and a system of community services in all fields of life. Near the settlement, there is a modern industrial park that rents out space for businesses.
The plans for the future focus on expanding the settlement up to 600 families.
Education: In Bnei Yehuda there is a daycare center for children aged 0-3, two kindergartens and an afternoon childcare facility. Elementary school children learn in the new regional school of the settlements of the south of the Golan in Bnei Yehuda. High school children learn in "Nofei Golan" in Katzrin (a 30 minute drive) or in the democratic school in Eliad (a five minute drive). The transportation is organized by the Golan Regional Council. The youth of Bnei Yehuda have a variety of activities organized by our youth coordinator. Athletes have the Sports Association of Bnei Yehuda which organizes the representative sport of the Golan and which includes 350 children and adults from all over the Golan. Everyone can enjoy the cultural activities of the regional community center.
Quality of life: Bnei Yehuda offers health services, a bank, synagogue, a roofed swimming pool, sports hall, regional library, golden-age club, a cultural center and the regional community center. In addition, there is a culture and community coordinator who is responsible for cultural events. There is also a shopping center "Nof Golan" that serves the residents of the area and constitutes a commercial center and a central entertainment and tourism site.
