The Regional Council sees education as a first and foremost strategic objective and a significant part of the promotion and development of the area and of the formation of a principled community that is committed and connected to its roots. The Council strives to use learning strategies and thinking skills from the field of research and to integrate the unique natural resources and heritage sites of the Golan into its curriculum. The Council strives to develop high-quality, advanced and unique learning environments and at the same time, to develop innovative pedagogy, design teaching methods adjusted to the 21st century and produce an optimal educational climate that answers the needs of each and every child.        
75 nursery schools and kindergartens, 26 elementary schools, high schools and tertiary education institutions with more than 7000 students are active under the jurisdiction of the Regional Council.
