There are 32 settlements in the Golan, all of which are in one stage or another of Klita. There are Kibbutzim, cooperative settlements, community settlements, religious, non-religious and combined settlements. In short, each one of you can find what is best for him or her.
Many of the settlements have two options of Klita: as residents of the community expansion or as full members of the cooperative society or Kibbutz. You are invited to call the information center of the Golan Regional Council *2131 and our representatives will be happy to give you information about our Klita options and accompany you through the process of your choice.

Residents of the community expansion
This option exists in most of the settlements of the Golan.
After your call to our information center and your decision to get on with the process, a meeting will be scheduled for you with one of our marketing representatives, who will take you on a tour of the settlements you would like to see.
After you return home, if you decide you are interested in a specific settlement, a meeting will be scheduled with a representative of that settlement and you will start the acquaintance process with the settlement. This process includes a tour of the settlement, a meeting with the community acquaintance team, and meetings with families of the settlement as guests.
In accordance with the Israeli law, you will then be referred to a Human Resources Institution for exams and then be invited to the regional admission committee of the Golan Regional Council. The objective of the admission committee is to examine the extent of your suitability to life in a small rural community. The approval of the committee constitutes a recommendation to the Israel Land Authority to assign you a plot of the community expansion free of tender.
After the admission committee, you will have to sign an agreement with the Golan Economic Society and pay the cost of the public infrastructures as they have been confirmed by the Ministry of Construction. Then you will start the procedure of registration of your rights by the settlement division and the Israel Land Authority. At the end of the process, you will have a development contract and you will be able to submit a request for a permit to the local committee for planning and construction.
Does this sound long a tedious? We are here at your service and will be happy to assist so that the Klita process will be short and friendly as much as possible.

The acquaintance process includes a tour of the settlement, a meeting with the community acquaintance team, and meetings with families of the settlement as guests.

After this period of time, you will be referred to social and economic exams.
